Brotherhood
Hello, you clicked on this link to learn more about brotherhood. Brotherhood, as defined to me, means in the words of my big brother “being your brother’s brother, not your brother’s keeper”. This basically means that you will be there for your brother, you will give him a ride if he needs it or help him out if he is having a rough time. Being your brother’s keeper would be something like doing his homework for him.
Anyway though, brotherhood means men who have not known each other before the fraternity come together and are as close as family. We are all essentially brothers, united and bonded by a common event that one can learn about by being inititated. Brotherhood is a powerful bond that we all share that allows us to operate and forgive each other. Brotherhood is the reason i joined this fraternity: to have a great college experience with some of my closest friends.

”Brotherhood is truly for life. A few years out of college, I’m still in nearly day to day contact with my chapter. Also, I’ve met a number of brothers from local chapters near my home in Washington, DC. The ambition and hard work I see in new brothers and alumni alike help keep me on my toes! Clearly, college was only the beginning.”
